I have sketched a few more subjects from around here. The country is so lovely that I cannot describe it to you. When I can paint a little better - then!
Arrange things that concern me as suits best, I would learn here and learn there too, I think.
These were some people I saw on the peat moor; they were sitting behind a stack of peat, with a bonfire in the foreground, and eating. [The second drawing is of] peat loaders,
though I am afraid it is impossible to decipher my scribbles.
